The arrival of our Princess Yap Xuen, Kaylee

This was taken 7am in the morning at the delivery suite. Few
of my friends told me that KK nurses were known to be fierce
and indeed, I meet some especially those Snr mid wife who are
very experienced. The contraction started since Tues night from
11pm till the next day morning at 5am. The pain were persistent
and awful. I was not bothered at all till I experience blood in the
morning at 5am instead of water bag bursting! And that's when I
knew that I was in "danger" and needed immediate attention!
Luckily, traffic was smooth in the morning & we only took less
than 1/2 hr to reach KK Hospital from CCK. Of course, my hubby
was speeding at that time cause that's the only chance that we can
do so in S'pore without getting a summon. Everybody knew that
only pregnant women has the priviledge. Since that's the ONLY
chance. Why wait?! *Hehe....

I didn't knew the seriousness until the nurse told me that the
"opening" is already 3cm wide and that was then I was pushed
to delivery suite immediately. I'm so relieved when I see DR SF
Loh, Head & Snr Consultant (Obsterician & Gynaecologist) in less
than 10mins time. His smile can really drive all my pain away.
As for the needle, it's the WORSE of all. Long, painful & untolerable.
Slight movement can make one pain like shit. And best, I have to
insert it on throughout the whole process. My god!

My baby has arrived! 12.11pm... To be honest, I didn't cry
at all even when I had problem pushing her out for 3x! Tears
only rolled down when the moment I had her in my arms and
when her cries filled the whole room. Even my hubby couldn't
control his tears! Touching, really amazing..... No wonder
people always say, Mother is the greatest of all.

Everything was so FAST! From delivery, to cutting of umbilicol
cord, everything just took less than 5 mins. As I am still under
drug control, all I could remember is that the process was
disgusting. And I even experience excessive blood lost at my
womb during the process. DR Loh is a very professional doctor
who will never make any unneccessary remarks to his patients
but that day, his expression gave him away. It was so scary. The
first thing that came to my mind is that I'm afraid I wouldn't be
able to survive!

In fact, I was quite surprised when I knew that Kaylee was
only less than 3kg. Finally I knew that it's not the size that matters.
